The 2017 vintage started late due to a wet spring in 2016. This extra rain, mixed with a mild summer meant that the grapes had a much easier start to the season than we have had in previous years. Due to the cooler weather though, it did mean vintage started a couple weeks later than average.
The cooler weather has helped increase the quality in our 2017 wines, bringing more intense flavours and aromas due to the slower ripening.
Both our red’s and white’s are looking amazing, so keep an eye out for the new vintages later this year.
